ClassZMinimalism™ + EcoDesign Part 4
This is a PERFECT example of ClassZMinimalism™ + EcoDesign. So where and what is it?
It is NOT in the USA Southwest. It is the Technology School of Guelmim in MOROCCO!
Here is what Sally Coulthard says:
“The architects behind the Technology School of Guelmim found a way to blend new, earthquake-resistant materials with ancient building traditions that influenced ventilation, air flow and the control of light. By using large north-facing windows and small south-facing ones, for example, the designers reduced the amount of direct sunlight blasting into the school, while making sure each classroom got plenty of natural light. The arrangement of the buildings also maximized the circulation of air through the space, creating a completely natural, eco-friendly cooling system.”
This Technology School of Guelmim will be featured in the first edition of my online magazine ClassZMinimalism + EcoDesign.
